Are you a Mom with Social Anxiety? Do you have kids with Social Anxiety?

Social anxiety is far beyond being shy, and it can be a bully in our lives. But with the right tools you can crush it and not allow it to have power over how you want to live and lead in life.

The fear of being judged and evaluated negativity by other people

Leading to feelings of inadequacy, inferiority, self-consciousness, embarrassment, humiliation, and depression.

A person with social anxiety disorder feels symptoms of anxiety or fear in certain or all social situations, such as meeting new people, dating, being on a job interview, answering a question in class, or having to talk to a cashier in a store. Doing everyday things in front of people such as eating or drinking in front of others or using a public restroom also causes anxiety or fear. The person is afraid that he or she will be humiliated, judged, and rejected.

Are you extremely afraid of being judged by others?

Are you very self-conscious in everyday social situations?

Do you avoid meeting new people?

Can you relate? Does this sound like you or your child?

If so, I am sharing tips to crush the bully

For moms, kids birthday parties, play dates, mommy groups, these give you knots in your stomach. Social anxiety is a major struggle, and add parenthood to the mix you can feel like your emotionally drowning. The guilt of not being social, and now having a child that struggles with it makes you feel so guilty and harder to deal with it.

For kids, they get embarrassed easily, struggle to make and maintain friends, use public restrooms, talk to people of authority, work in small or large groups, participate in school, sports etc. As a result, it gets in the way of going to work, friendships, attending school, or doing everyday things.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. When I realized my Social Anxiety was getting in the way of my children’s lives, I learned the tools how to support myself, my son, and now many other moms and kids, to crush it and go from surviving to thriving.

These are the tools I teach in my Emotional Wellness Mastermind Thrive in EQ. If you are wanting more tools and resources send me a private message or link below to schedule a FREE 1:1 Discover call
