Purpose program offers three different Transition Services options to choose from that fit your schools needs. Each designed to help your high school students achieve their post-secondary goals using best practice services aligned with Department Of Education.

- On site services. For schools seeking a Transition Specialist who will work with students on a IEP, 504, junior and senior high school students. Explore topics regarding career decisions and how to navigate it. Hire me as your Transition Career Specialist!
- Telepractice Services. Offered if location of school to far. Tele practice is a Live web-based platform such as i.e. (skpe, facetime, webcam) communication at a distance. What is Transition Services?
Coordinated set of activities for students as part of the IEP, designed to promote movement from school to post-school activities, including post secondary education, vocational training, integrated employment (including supported employment), continuing and adult education, related services, independent living, or community participation.
What is Independent Living Skills and Executive Functioning Skills?
Individual skills needed to live independently on their own. Includes, self-care, housekeeping, managing money, self- care, problem solving, transportation and any other aspects of everyday life.
Students with social emotional learning challenges may struggle with identifying which Independent Living skills are strengths and weaknesses. We work together on goals to successfully overcome the barriers holding you back from being able to live independently.
Executive Function“are a set of processes that all have to do with managing oneself and one’s resources in order to achieve a goal. It is an umbrella term for the neurologically-based skills involving mental control and self-regulation.”

Weaknesses in a set of important mental skills that are key to learning and get things done. These skills are controlled by the area of the brain called Prefrontal Cortex.
Areas of weakness include (i.e; organizing, planning and prioritizing, starting and completing tasks, doing things independently, regulating emotions, self-monitoring keeping track of what you are doing and more).
Executive function coaching helps clients identify which skills are strengths and weaknesses, working together on goals to overcome weak executive functions to successfully be able to complete homework on time, manage time with family and friendship to maintain relationships and live independently as an adult.
My teaching style is resolution based focusing on learning a clear understanding of executive functioning and the many ways it impacts academic performance, self-regulation, time management, and more. Shift our thoughts, awareness on how we link between our emotions and learning to create a better habit change.

Purpose Program is designed is to to help students with self-advocate skills to lead their own IEP meeting and readiness for career and lifelong success. All lessons taught align with best practice tools and strategies required by States Department Of Education.

What is Training For Professionals Program?
I become your schools Educational Strategist in Transition Services at your school. Provide your staff with action by action steps and strategies to help students with self-advocacy skills to lead their IEP meeting, succeed in work, school, community and readiness for college.

I have been in your shoes, that is why I created a Purpose Program which includes a Transition Career Service Tool Guide to teach as a e-Learning webinar course. This webinar will provide everything you need from start to finish to conduct effect and best practice Transition Services all year round.
